Yokohama Nursery, established in 1891, is a pioneering, plant-focused horticultural company that promotes well being through seedlings, horticulture and landscaping. Enterprises should contribute to the realization of the sustainable society by creating both economic and social value. As agriculture and plant cultivation are becoming increasingly challenging due to climate change, we focus on research and development of varieties that can withstand unusual conditions. Our vision is to implement cutting-edge technology to develop innovative varieties that meet the expectations of producers and consumers.
We aim to be a company that brings joy to people not only in Japan but around the world. In addition, with the cooperation of local governments and the private sector, we have been engaged in green projects such as landscaping work and designated park management. We would like to create a sanctuary where people in the community can relax and enjoy themselves.
